Efforts to fight poverty, no matter how small, can be seen as the dawn of a new era of happiness. "Awalamban changing lives..." is my such effort with a vision to make India affluent and prosperous.
The fight has begun. The immediate targets are the slums located in the premises of ISM, Dhanbad.
Fighting poverty does not mean distributing resources to the poor, it aims at making them self sustainable. Awalamban trains slum people and employs them in the field of manufacturing notebooks and incense sticks in its ambitious mission to bar the unemployed population of slums from choosing illegal paths to earn their livelihood and provide a respectable and prosperous life.
